The Thinking Behind Dreqalixana

Dreqalixana was created to provide structured education in Figma Design Systems for learners who want to understand how interface foundations, reusable components, patterns, documentation, maintenance, collaboration, and planning connect within one organized process.

The course series follows a ten-tier learning route. It begins with interface observation and repeated design decisions, then develops through visual foundations, component families, pattern libraries, documentation structures, system reviews, contribution processes, roadmap planning, cross-area alignment, and complete system organization.

Our team began developing Dreqalixana after reviewing many design-system learning materials that explained individual topics without showing how those topics work together.

Learners could study color roles, typography, spacing, components, variants, states, patterns, or documentation separately. However, it was often less clear how to move from an interface audit to a maintained system structure, how to connect components with patterns, or how to organize review and contribution work as the system developed.

The Dreqalixana team wanted to create a learning route where each stage supports the next one.

The course begins with small and focused exercises. Learners identify repeated interface decisions, organize visual roles, define component responsibilities, and record the reasoning behind their choices. Later tiers introduce wider structures such as pattern libraries, documentation networks, maintenance records, contribution routes, dependency maps, governance methods, and development roadmaps.

Each course contains guided explanations, practical activities, comparison tables, working templates, review questions, and a final project. The projects can also be connected across the complete series, allowing learners to see how separate system resources develop into one coordinated framework.

Our team contributes to curriculum planning, material review, visual organization, activity preparation, and quality checks. This shared process helps keep terminology, module progression, and project requirements consistent across all ten tiers.

The author of Dreqalixana is Vladislava Arsenko, a design systems educator focused on interface structure, reusable design resources, documentation, and organized learning materials.

Vladislava developed the course curriculum around a practical question: how can learners understand not only what a design system contains, but also how its parts are connected, reviewed, documented, and maintained?

Her approach begins with the reasoning behind a design decision. Instead of introducing a large collection of components immediately, the lessons first examine purpose, repeated use, visual roles, content boundaries, states, and relationships. This creates a clear foundation for later work with component families, patterns, documentation, contribution processes, and planning.

Vladislava also designed the ten-tier structure so that learners can build their knowledge gradually. Earlier projects remain useful during later courses. A foundation reference may support component work, component documentation may support pattern development, and audit records may support roadmap planning.

Her role includes writing course content, arranging module progression, developing practical activities, preparing project requirements, and reviewing how the complete learning route fits together.
